Thank you Single Gourmet for giving me a social outlet that was far superior to any other singles functions that I had tried in the South Florida area.  With your wonderful organization, everything is pre-arranged and all I have to do is join in on the fun.

I move to South Florida about 3 years ago and was having a hard time meeting people.  A friend from New York suggested that I try The Single Gourmet.  I joined about a year ago and this became the answer to my prayers.  I now have lots of male and female friends and just recently became engaged.

I like the idea that there are younger people, middle aged people and older people. It’s a good mixture of all ages there. I certainly enjoy being treated to a nice evening out where I can meet people with similar interests as myself. I had become a widow, and I was used to going out to nice restaurants, and when I read about this, I decided to join. I am happy that it exists, because I probably wouldn’t just pick myself up and go out to dinner by myself. I don’t think that would be much fun.
