The Single Gourmet of South Florida

Why eat alone when as a member of The Single Gourmet you can share a delicious meal with other singles?  Every week there are opportunities to sample delicious food from the finest restaurants in Miami-Dade County.  There is a social hour prior to all dinners which allow the members a chance to arrive, unwind,and meet others who may not be seated at their table during dinner.  Members range from the 20’s to the 80’s and there is always a wonderful representation of all ages at every event.  Of course, members are seated by age and interest to create comfort for all in attendance.

In addition to the weekly dinner gatherings, events ranging from plays, wine tastings, dancing and travel are also on the agenda.  Already this year, many Single Gourmet members have traveled to Paris and Rhode Island and are looking forward to visiting Chicago on Labor Day and New Orleans in November.

Some singles attend the social events to enjoy a delicious meal while others seek pleasant conversation, good company, friendship or love.  No matter what the motivationis, members have nothing to lose in these no hassle environments.

Co-owners Barry Adelson and Laura Simoncini, who also operate chapters of The Single Gourmet in Broward County and Palm Beach County describe the organization as a “roamimg army of food critics”.  After all, there are more than 2600 actives member in the area.  There are also chapters located in 27 different cities across the country as well in which the membership has access to if traveling to one of the cities that The Single Gourmet is located in.
